What steps do I need to take to setup my Subscriptions for Google?

After you purchase the In-App Purchases Add-On, there are a few things that you need to do so we can add the Subscriptions feature to your Android app. Please complete these steps in order and let us know when it's done so we can update your app.

1. Create a New Subscription - To begin setting up your Subscription, go to the Subscriptions section in your Google Play Developer Console. Click on your app and scroll down to the Monetize section on the left-menu.
   
   
   
   Product ID - Give your subscription a Unique ID (i.e., 1, 21M, etc...). If you have already setup your subscription for Apple, please make sure the Product ID is the same in Google because we will use the same Product ID for both apps.
   
   Name - Enter a name for your Subscription that accurately describes what you're offering (i.e., BV Mobile Apps Premium, Ad Free (Monthly), etc...).
   
   
   



2. Add Subscription Benefits - This section is optional, but it helps to provide this info. Click the Add subscription benefits link.
   
   
   
   Name - This should be prefilled with the name that you entered in the first step.
   
   Benefits - This is a bullet-point list of features that user will receive once they subscribe.
   
   Description - This is a short description that describes the subscription.
   
   Tax, compliance, and programs - Click Manage Settings. Keep Service selected. If you have a streaming audio or video in your app, select "This is a streaming product." Click Apply
   
   
   



3. Add a Base Plan - This section is optional, but it helps to provide this info. Click the Add subscription benefits link.
