How Do I Switch My Google Play Developer Account from Personal to Organization?

There are several benefits to setting your Account Type to Organization in your Google Play Developer Account. The most important benefit is that Google won't require that you have 20 testers when you submit your first app.

If you already have a Google Play Developer Account, here are the steps to change your Account Type:

1. Login to your Google Play Developer Console: https://play.google.com/console/u/0/developers

2. Click Developer account (left-menu)

3. Click About you (First option under Account Details)

4. Click Change account type (top of the page)

4. Select Organization account

5. Click Confirm

You will have to submit documentation and/or your DUNS number to Google to verify that you have a business/organization.
